Returns & Refunds Policy

1. Fresh and perishable products

Hojas de Olivo by DelPueblo sells fresh olive leaves, fresh olive branches and other natural botanical products.

These products are harvested and prepared close to the shipping date and may naturally deteriorate, dehydrate or change in appearance over time.

Because of their fresh and perishable nature, the standard right of withdrawal applicable to many online purchases may not apply where the goods are liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly.

This exception is recognised under applicable Spanish and European Union consumer law. BOE

2. Change-of-mind returns

We do not normally accept returns of fresh olive leaves or fresh olive branches solely because the customer has changed their mind after the product has been harvested, prepared or dispatched.

This is due to the perishable nature of the products and the fact that their condition changes naturally after harvesting.

This does not affect your legal rights if the product is damaged, incorrect, defective or otherwise not in conformity with your order.

3. Order cancellations before dispatch

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at:

If the order has not yet been harvested, prepared or dispatched, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel it and refund the corresponding amount.

If the fresh product has already been harvested or specially prepared for the order, cancellation may no longer be possible where permitted by applicable law.

4. Damaged or incorrect orders

If your order arrives:

  • seriously damaged,

  • incorrect,

  • incomplete,

  • or in a condition that is clearly inconsistent with what was purchased,

please contact us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery at:

To help us assess the issue, please include photographs showing:

  • the affected product,

  • the outer packaging,

  • the inner packaging,

  • and the shipping label.

Please keep the product and packaging until the incident has been reviewed whenever reasonably possible.

5. Natural variations are not defects

Olive leaves and branches are natural products.

Variations in:

  • colour,

  • size,

  • shape,

  • leaf arrangement,

  • branch thickness,

  • density,

  • minor bending,

  • or slight dehydration

may occur naturally and do not automatically mean that the product is defective.

Photographs on the website are illustrative and cannot guarantee that every individual leaf or branch will be identical.

6. Refunds and replacements

If we confirm that a product arrived damaged, incorrect or materially defective, we may offer, depending on the circumstances:

  • a replacement,

  • a partial refund,

  • or a full refund.

The appropriate solution will depend on the nature and extent of the issue.

Where a refund is approved, it will normally be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.

7. Shipping costs

Where the problem is caused by an error on our part or the goods are confirmed to be defective or not in conformity with the order, we will handle the case in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Customers will not be required to bear costs that legally correspond to the seller in relation to defective or non-conforming goods. European Union

8. Returns requested by us

Because our products are fresh and perishable, in many cases we may not require the physical product to be returned.

We may instead request photographic evidence or other reasonable information in order to assess the condition of the order.

If we specifically request that a product be returned, we will provide the necessary instructions.

Do not send products back without contacting us first.

9. Return address

If a return is expressly authorised by us, products should only be sent to the address provided in our return instructions.

Please do not send fresh products to this address without prior authorisation.

10. Delivery delays

Estimated delivery times are not guaranteed.

Transport delays caused by carriers, weather, public holidays or other circumstances outside our reasonable control do not automatically entitle the customer to a refund.

However, if a serious delay materially affects the condition of the fresh product, please contact us and we will assess the case.

11. Incorrect delivery information

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information.

We cannot be held responsible for failed or delayed deliveries caused by incorrect or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

If a new shipment is required because of an incorrect address, missing information or an unsuccessful delivery attributable to the recipient, additional shipping charges may apply.

12. Refund processing

Once a refund has been approved, we will initiate it as soon as reasonably possible.

The time required for the refunded amount to appear in your account may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.

Payments may be processed through providers such as Stripe or PayPal, and refunds will normally be returned through the original payment method where possible.

13. Consumer rights

Nothing in this Returns & Refunds Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply under Spanish law or European Union law.

The exception relating to perishable goods affects the ordinary right to withdraw from a distance purchase, but it does not remove the customer's rights where goods are defective, incorrect or not in conformity with the contract. European Union
